Parent and carer contact

Y7 Bramley Lakes 4 (Large)We want to forge strong links with parents and carers and encourage you to become involved with the work of your child and the school.

There is a parents' consultation evening each term where you will have the opportunity to discuss your child's progress with their class teachers.   For Reception children, there is also an introduction to meet your child’s teacher.

You will receive an interim report during the Autumn and Spring terms and also a report at the end of the academic year which will give you a full account of progress in each subject, as well as comments on your child’s overall involvement in the life of the school.

If you wish to discuss your child's welfare or progress, please telephone or write to make an appointment with his/her teacher.   The Head of Primary Phase and the Headteacher will always be available to meet parents, although the class teacher will normally be the first point of contact.

Parents receive details of school events and other information through our electronic weekly newsletter, The Bird.

We also have a texting system.  In the event of an emergency, such as school closure due to severe weather, we will use the texting service and information will be available on the school website www.litchamschool.net and the Norfolk County Council website http://www.schoolclosures.norfolk.gov.uk/

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
