PALS – Peer counsellors

Litcham Pupil Advice & Listening Service (PALS) is a peer mentoring programme which was launched in 2010. Many of our Year 11s express an interest in becoming involved with PALS; keen to use their experiences to support, especially younger members of our school community, with any worries or difficulties they may be experiencing. They undertake training to ensure they are prepared for their role. The PALS are available four lunchtimes a week and can be identified by their purple sweatshirts. No appointments are needed and when necessary concerns will be signposted onto a member of staff. If you are a student and wish to talk to one of our PALS they are all very approachable and will be more than happy to have a chat with you.
