GCSE English suggested reading list

BooksOver the next two years we are going to encourage you to read as widely as possible. We are also going to teach you different ways to respond to a book.

This list is not intended to prevent you choosing your own reading material, but rather to introduce you to a range of books that have been celebrated and enjoyed by people of your age over the years.

We will expect you to read at least one of these texts each half term and present your opinions back to the group.
